Why We Started


Sprite Press was founded in 2000 by Kim Bundy, Mel Jacob, and Sally Less.


The marketplace for children's literature is highly competitive, and they felt that there are some good stories that need to be shared.



News and Reviews 

 

In the July 24, 2003 issue of her online newsletter, Jennifer LB Leese reviewed Aiko and The Bucket.

An article by Jef Benedetti appeared on page 5 of The Gahanna News on April 30, 2003, highlighting the publishing of Margaret (Peg) Leis Hanna's book, Tricia and the Blue Cap.


The Ohioana Quarterly included reviews for Aiko, The Bucket, and Cormac and the Coyote in the "Young Reader Reviews in Brief" section on page 296 of their Fall 2001 issue.


The Messenger featured a story about Sprite Press in 2001. The author of the article, Chiree McCain, interviewed the founders and detailed our first three books.
